Health Resources and Services Administration - The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), a division of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, envisions optimal health for all, supported by a health care system that assures access to comprehensive, culturally competent, quality care. HRSA provides national leadership, program resources and services needed to improve access to culturally competent, quality health care.

Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act - The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act ("FACE" or the "Access Act"), 18 USC ยง248, passed in 1994, prohibits the use of intimidation or physical force to prevent or discourage either access to a reproductive health care facility (which most notably includes abortion clinics) or from exercising their freedom to worship at a religious facility. It also creates specific penalties for the destruction of, or damage to, a reproductive health care facility or place of religious worship.

Health disparities - Health disparities refer to gaps in the quality of health and health care across racial and ethnic groups. The Health Resources and Services Administration defines health disparities as "population-specific differences in the presence of disease, health outcomes, or access to health care.

South African Health Ministry - Ministry of Health of South Africa mission is to consolidate and build on the achievements of the past five years in improving access to health care for all and reducing inequity, and to focus on working in partnership with other stakeholders to improve the quality of care of all levels of the health system, especially preventive and promotive health, and to improve the overall efficiency of the health care delivery system.

Reshaping Health Care in Latin America: A Comparative Analysis of Health Care Reform in Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico by Sonia Fleury,
In many countries of the world, including Canada, arguments are made for a private-public mix in the financing donatelle access to health and provision of health services. Proponents claim that such a mix would improve both access donatelle access to health and quality of health care. Opponents counter that it would create a two-tiered system, narrowing the range of options available to the lower socioeconomic segments of society donatelle access to health and ultimately harming the equitable delivery of quality health care.
